Max height on 90” Rogue Monster

Super simple install on my Rogue RM-3. Used the Bob feet on the bottom then the existing 1” bolt with a 5/8” bolt to maximize the height to be able to do standing press (I’m 5’8”).

Used the Midas shorty power bar to clear a garage door clearance I have to be able to stow the smith on my pull up bar at max height. I’ve also swapped it out with the Titan Cambered bar for an big pump. The safety hooks due bend in against the mag pins under higher loads but no issues or major safety concerns.

Love the feel and control doing rows and bench work. With the full rod, I don’t feel the seam.

Hip thrust do need a platform but I could also remove the safeties to go without.

Max gains, max pump, maxed out on the rogue

Easy setup and works great!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this works great. I wasn’t sure if it would fit my Ethos rack but it did after some quick adjustments. To get it to work, I just had to use a step drill to get the top rack holes big enough for the included bolts. Quick 15 minute adjustment.

The BOB smith machine works perfectly and does everything it’s supposed to at an insane lower price than its competitors. The carriage and bearings are extremely smooth and a lot more quiet than I anticipated. A welcomed surprise. The installation is pretty straightforward due to its intentional simple design. The low starting position is amazing, below mid shin for me. Deadlifts and rows just got a major upgrade. Lastly, depending on your height you can leave the back plate on your Dane 2.0. At 6’1” I can comfortably do squats and military press no problem with the magpin on hole #28. Just an fyi. Thank you Fringe for making another great product! 👊👊

Perfect for me

Very nice smith machine attachment. High quality and it lets me use my own bar. Used it for squats, glute press and barbell rows. And at this price point you can't go wrong.
