The knurl is not as nice as the regular Modas barbell but it's good for a budget bar.

Really awesome rackable curl bar, great design, knurls feel good and are positioned in the right place. Provides an awesome close and wide grip workout, pumps up the biceps really good. Oh and it's an awesome looking curl bar. Thank you Fringe sport.

My bottom-line review is that the Midas Curl Bar is excellent and one of my
favorite purchases in the last six months. I was specifically looking for a
rackable curl bar that was aesthetically pleasing and would fit in well
with the other equipment I have in my gym. I was pleasantly surprised by
the depth and texture of the knurl. The best part of the bar, though, is
the positioning of the undulations that allow me to hit my biceps from
different angles. I have experienced a lot of discomfort with other curl
bars because of various shoulder ailments combined with being relatively
wide set. that I've used in the past and none at all with Midas.

The other Fringe products that I have in my gym include a full set of
Savage bumper plates (5 x 45 pairs, 1 x 25 pair, 1 x 15 pair, 1 x 10 pair)
, which I absolutely love the look, feel, and quality of and a pair of
strength bands that I use for banded deadlifts and squats. I like the
strength bands, but they do seem to be inconsistent in terms of their
elasticity so I feel very different resistance when attempt to use two
black bands on either side of a bar, for instance. They're great when used
singly.

I will definitely be purchasing additional Fringe Sport products in the
future and I have actively been encouraging my brother to buy the Dane for
himself, but I haven't quite convinced him yet.

I enjoy using the Midas bar as part of my workouts. The bar is curved enough to be able to curl from different positions without putting stress on my wrists, I love that it is rackable, and has solid knurling. Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought the Midas open trap bar and EZ curl Midas bar. Both bars are built well and work in my home gym setting. Been using the trap bar a few months now and the curl bar about a month. The trap bar visibly looks tight but when you’re using it you don’t notice. I do trap bar deadlifts and shrugs. The Midas ez curl being rack-able is a great feature for loading and unloading your bar. I use it for curls and triceps extensions. I’d recommend each bar to anyone looking to add to their home gym.
